World Trade Center as seen from the Staten Island Ferry.
I took this again from the Staten Island Ferry. The most riveting thing you see along the water from this vantage point are the WTC towers. I just snapped picture after picture and couldn't help myself. It's just impossible to believe that they are no longer there.

We had half day in school with lots of talking before leaving of what was wrong with our country. 1969: I remember with the sheer joy of being up late at night seeing Americans landing on the moon. Politicans and space explorers never expect to pay with their lifes for their call to duty. But they are aware of some risk. The people who died in this tragedy were really..."you and me".
